Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is a tv anime series produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Gallop, based on chapters 60-343 of this yu gi oh! Manga published by Kazuki Takahashi. It's the next anime version of this manga following anime produced by Toei Animation, adapting the manga. The show revolves around a card duelist called Yugi Mutou, that encounters various competitions in a game known as Duel Monsters. The show aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between April 2000 and September 2004, running for 224 episodes. An English-language version from 4Kids Entertainment aired in North America between September 2001 and June 2006 on Children's WB under the name Yu Gi Oh! Releasing the series. Founded on this series' results, 4Kids commissioned an animated film! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, Yu Gi Oh, and a Mini Series! Capsule Monsters. The show has spawned three primary anime series that was spin off. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.
