Transporter: The Series
Transporter: The Series is an English-language French Canadian Actionadventure Tv series, spun off from the Transporter film series. It is co-produced by the French Atlantique Productions and the Canadian boutique amusement company QVF Inc. in conjunction with broadcast partners M6, RTL, The Movie Network, Movie Central and HBO/Cinemax.
The show follows the events and concept of the film trilogy, continuing adventures of Frank Martin, a specialist freelancer courier driver for hire who will send anything, anywhere -- no questions asked -- for the right price, and also lifestyles by three"unbreakable" rules, which he constantly breaks. Chris Vance takes on the role of Frank out of Jason Statham and can be connected by Andrea Osvárt, who plays with the leading female role in the series, starring as a former CIA agent and love interest for Frank, who ignites his missions, also François Berléand, the only returning actor from the film collection, who reprises his role as Inspector Tarconi.
Twelve episodes were ordered for 2012 using a general funding of $40,000,000, approximately $30.000.000. The show was released that year on October 11 at France on M 6, also on December 6 at Germany on RTL. The Canadian premiere was on Super Écran Inch and also HBO Canada on January 4, 2013. The broadcast started in India on 25th January 2013 on Sony PIX station.
