The Tribe
The Tribe is a brand new fictional TV series. It is set in a near-future by which a deadly virus has wiped out all adults, leaving this world to fend for themselves' children. The focus of the show is on an unnamed city occupied by tribes of children and teenagers. It had been filmed in and around Wellington, New Zealand.
The collection was created by Raymond Thompson and Harry Duffin and by the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group in conjunction with the United Kingdom's Channel 5, was developed and produced. It has been aired over 40 broadcast networks around the globe.
It surfaced on Channel 5 on 24 April 1999 and immediately gained a sizable group of followers. From 1999 to 2003, 260 half-dozen episodes and also five series were produced. Series 6 had been scheduled to start filming in 2003, however Nick Wilson, of Channel 5, and Raymond Thompson felt that"although the show was doing well, the cast was getting too old along with the show was just starting to stretch the center proposal." They felt the characters are not kids fending for themselves without adults any longer. The show was cancelled. The two episodes on 6 aired .
