The Prison Shift

Fangavaktin is the last series in the trilogy and the sequel to the Icelandic tv series Dagvaktin. The three chief characters from Næturvaktin, Georg Bjarnfreðarson, Ólafur Ragnar and Daníel, have been imprisoned at the infamous Litla-Hraun prison following murder of this hotel owner in Dagvaktin. The narrative brought to a finish, and is continued. The very first episode was broadcast 27, on Sunday on Stöð 2 September 2009, and a episode has been broadcast each Sunday that was following until the last episode aired 8 November 2009. The series has been published on DVD.
