The Naked Chef

The Naked Chef has been a BBC Two tv cooking programme starring Jamie Oliver. It originally ran for three seasons plus three subsequent Christmas specials, and has been produced by Optomen Television for the BBC. The show was Oliver's television debut, and has been noted for its use of jumpy, closeup camera work, and also the presenter's"Mockney" dialect and comfy style--for example, Oliver would tear up herbs instead of chopping. The plan has been credited with inspiring men to cook thanks to Oliver's"blokey" approach. Each incident was based on babysitting his cousins or event in the lifetime of Oliver , such as being a hen night or a social circumstance.
