Queer as Folk
Queer as Folk is just a 1999 television set that chronicles the lives of three homosexual men. Both Queer as Folk and Queer as Folk two were written by Russell T Davies. The series was re-shown on Greater 4 October 2007, within Channel 4's 25th-birthday celebrations.
The Red Production Company for Channel 4 made queer as Folk. The name of this programme originates from a dialect saying from some parts of Northern England,"there is nowt so queer as folk", meaning"you'll find nothing as strange as people". Which really is a word play with the contemporary English synonym of"queer", meaning gay. Until it adheres to the former name, although at the proposal of Channel 4 respondents it was understood as Queer as Fuck davies had titled the series this.
