Murder Rooms: The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes is really a BBC television drama series co produced with WGBH Boston, a PBS channel aired in 2000 and 2001. Its premise is that with his mentor he solved puzzles along during Conan Doyle's period as a general practitioner in Southsea, England. It was motivated by the fact that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle established the type of Sherlock Holmes in his mentor in the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Joseph Bell, and that Bell did occasionally do forensic benefit the Edinburgh authorities. It is stated that Dr. Bell had similar deductive and observation skills to the famed Sherlock Holmes.
