Lone Wolf with Cub

This series chronicles the story of Ogami Itt?, the Shogun's executioner who uses a D?tanuki battle sword. Ogami Itto is just a master swordsman who holds a position of high power in the Tokugawa Shogunate. Highly trusted by the Shogun, he functions assisting samurai and lords who've been ordered by the Shogun to commit seppuku. 1 day, Itto's wife and members of the loved ones have been murdered with a clan seeking to avenge the implementation, which were carried out by Itto of their lord. In the wake of the attack, two items are abandoned in the dwelling: his infant son, Daigoro, and a symbol meant to indicate Itto's imprint of the Shogun of Itto. Disgraced by the fictitious symbol, Itto forced to forfeit his position and is branded a traitor. He becomes a ronin, wandering the nation searching wanting to clear his name and avenge his death.
