Huntley-Brinkley Report
The Huntley-Brinkley Report has been that the NBC television network's flagship evening news program in October 29, 1956, until July 31, 1970. It was offered by Chet Huntley in Nyc, and David Brinkley at Washington, D.C.. The Camel News Caravan, supplied by John Cameron Swayze was succeeded by it. This app ran for 15 minutes but expanded to 30 minutes on September 9, 1963, a week after CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite failed thus. Reuven Frank developed and produced initially it. Frank abandoned the app from 1962 to create documentaries but came back to the app as it expanded to 30 minutes. He has been succeeded as executive producer at 1965 by Robert"Shad" Northshield and at 1969 by Wallace Westfeldt.
