Holocaust
Holocaust is an American television mini series broadcast on the NBC television network in four roles in 1978. The show tells the story of the Holocaust from the view of the Weiss family of German Jews and that of a rising member of the SS, that gradually becomes a war criminal. Holocaust highlighted numerous events which occurred around and throughout World War II, such as Kristallnacht, the production of Jewish ghettos and later, using gas chambers. Although the mini series won a few awards and received critical acclaim, it was criticized by a few, for example noted Holocaust survivor and author Elie Wiesel, who described it as"offensive and untrue ."
