Fantastic Morning America is an morning television series in the ABC television system. It debuted on November 3, 1975, also expanded on January 3, 1993 to evenings together with the introduction of a Sunday edition, the Sunday edition was cancelled in 1999 with weekend versions coming on September 4, 2004 on Sundays and Saturdays. The weekday program airs from 7 to 9% in all U.S. timezones. The weekend edition is one hour . A third hour of this weekday broadcast aired out from 2007 to 2008, only on ABC News.
The program features news, interviews, weather foreasts, special interest stories, and show sections such as"Pop News" and"Play of the afternoon". It's Made by ABC News and broadcasts from the Times Square Studios in New York 's Times Square district. The current anchors are Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, together with weather anchor Sam Champion newsreader Josh Elliott and lifestyle coming Lara Spencer.
Fantastic Morning America has generally run next in the ratings. Its rival was overtaken by it to mid-1980s with anchors David Hartman and Joan Lunden, from the late 1980s into the mid-1990s with Lunden and Charles Gibson, also in April 2012 with Roberts and Stephanopoulos. This program has recently begun to control within its competitors and whilst the top-rated network morning news system it celebrated 52 consecutive weeks in August 2013.
