Fawlty Towers
Fawlty Towers is actually a sitcom made by BBC Television that has been first broadcast in 1975 and 1979 on BBC2. A dozen episodes were made. The show was compiled by John Cleese and his wife.
The series is set in Fawlty Towers, a fictional hotel in the seaside town of Torquay, on the"English Riviera". The plots center around tense, rude and put-upon owner hapless Spanish waiter Manuel, a chambermaid Polly, along with Basil Fawlty, his former wife Sybil along with their efforts to conduct also an variety of eccentric and demanding guests and the hotel amidst farcical circumstances.
In an inventory drafted by the British Film Institute in 2000, voted by industry professionals, Fawlty Towers has been called the best British television series of them all.
