Father of the Pride

Father of the Pride is an American animated television series that began broadcasting on August 3 1, 2004 on NBC and had been a portion of a short-lived tendency of CGI series in prime time network TV. The series, which was produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg and his company DreamWorks Animation, revolves around the group of lions, the patriarch which stars at an Siegfried & Roy show. Despite heavy promotion, the series was ineffective and was canceled after one season. Production and transmission were postponed by Roy Horn's real life onstage injury.
