La Usurpadora can be just a Mexican romantic play telenovela originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from February 9 and produced by Salvador Mejia Alejandre. It starred Gabriela Spanic and Fernando Colunga, and was founded on La Intrusa, a novela aired in Venezuela which was its self a movie of the 1971 telenovela La Usurpadora, which was starred by Marina Baura along with Raúl Amundaray of Radio Caracas Television. This was one of the telenovelas to comprise Libertad Lamarque, that here portrayed Abuela Piedad Bracho's character. The show's premise revolves around a group of twin sisters who were split when they were young, as well as adults the younger sister is made to serve as a"replacement" for the wealthy twin who desires to temporarily leave her spouse and his family to have a life of luxury with several lovers. The telenovela had tremendous victory in Mexico and has been exported and ported to various languages across the entire environment.
