Cartoon Alley is a American television program that aired on Turner Classic Movies every Saturday Morning at 11:30 AM ET.
Founded by Ben Mankiewicz, the series featured three classic shorts. Most shorts were from American animation's Golden Age. The three shorts Each focused on a theme. Most shorts came in Warner Bros., MGM, and Paramount, but through the series's first season Cartoon Alley showcased shorts from the Gaumont Film Company. Many characters have been featured in a minumum of one incident such as Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Porky Pig, Tom and Jerry, along with others such as for example Goopy Geer along with The Captain and the kiddies.
