Brides of Christ

A young woman growing up from the 1960s in Australia, diane, walks out from her fiancé after being convinced she's a calling into the faith, to join a convent. Its followers and Even the Catholic Church are struggling with huge changes. The Pope has expired, there's war in conscription and Vietnam, there's the Vatican controversy about contraception and abortion, and the face of the Church all together. Told in two parts, Diane it has to decide if she can teach if she is simply impossible for her to recreate all of the contradictions of the faith and conserve her vow of obedience, or what the Church preaches and confronts her allies.
