Angel Links

Angel Links is an anime tv series produced by sun rise Studio. It was aired round the WOWOW tv system from April 7 to June 30, 1999. It is a spin-off of the manga Outlaw Star from Takehiko It?. Angel Links follows the 16 year-old protagonist, Meifon Li, who's the head of a corporation specializing in rescue transport companies as per her grandfather's dying wish. As the series progresses, she learns the reason for his dream and a secret about her grandfather. A series of books titled Hoshi Hou Yuugeki Tai Enjieru Rinkusu, illustrated and written by Ibuki Hideaki, began publication prior to the anime series. The anime has been released from the U.S. from Bandai. The characters Duuz and Valeria are in a episode of Outlaw Star titled"Legislation and Lawlessness", also work for Meifon, though there are plenty of differences in their temperament and personalities between both shows.
