Maverick Oldguard trainer Jimmy McGinty is hired in the aftermath of a players' strike that will help the Washington Sentinels progress. But that difficult dream hinges on if his replacements do this job and may hunker down. So, McGinty dusts his secret dossier of all ex-players who never received a chance (or screwed up the main one they were given) and also knits together a bad-dream team of guys who just may supply the Sentinels their name shot.
