When Hana, a British relief worker, returns to Luxor, a peaceful city on the banks of the Nile, she runs across Sultan, a talented archeologist and former boyfriend who has returned to Luxor to find her. The memories of the past resurface as she wanders through a familiar landscape, and she finds it difficult to reconcile them with her present-day situation.
