He finds himself at a post-apocalyptic world when 9 comes to life. All of us are gone, and it's only by chance he finds a community of many others like him shooting refuge from machines which roam the ground aim on their own thirst. Despite being the neophyte of the team, 9 frees others that concealing will get them no good.
