Knights of God

Knights of God has been a British science fiction kids' television serial, first broadcast on ITV in 1987 and made by TVS. Richard Cooper wrote it. Set in the year 2020, it showed that a Britain ruled by the Knights of God, a fascist and religious order that came into power twenty five seven decades before. It starred George Winter as Gervase Owen Edwards, the Welsh son of a resistance leader, also John Woodvine as the Ahead Mordrin, pioneer of the titular cult. Patrick Troughton played Arthur, the apparent leader of the English resistance, also Julian Fellowes played Mordrin, Brother Hugo.
